General information (通用信息)
The new standard IEC 60320 (ed.3) / DIN EN 60320-1 (VDE 0625-1):2016-04 is the collection of the general testing requirements for all constructions of appliance couplers (appliance inlets, connectors, appliance outlets, plug connectors). This standard is applicable for standardized constructions and for non-standardized constructions. Non-standardized constructions must fulfill only these requirements. For standardized constructions in addition the relevant standard sheets of IEC 60320-3 (ed.1) / DIN EN 60320-3 (VDE0625-3):2015-11 are applicable
